Due to the nature of 3d printing some remnants of the supporting structures might leave small marks in the miniature, however these are easily removed with a light sanding or the back of a hobby knife.
Sometimes the models will come in multiple parts, these will be shipped unassembled to reduce the chances of breaking during transit.
